Who's that girl?
Peer Specialist.
Public Speaker .
Peace Seeker .
I did not feel connected to a ‘title’ until most recently. For years, I panicked when asked, “So what do you do?”, only to respond with a lengthy elevator pitch asking in return, “Why must I choose only one?”.
While my work spans disciplines including broadcast media arts, community facilitation, and mental health cultural programming, I’ve found the term ‘Social Artist’ best describes how I approach creative work in service of community.
As a self-described “neuro-spicy” creative with Trinidadian and French-Canadian roots, I am driven by the absence of my own reflection in Canadian media and transform my lived experience with mental illness into lived wisdom and mental agency. My practice and ethos has led to collaborations with brands such as Entertainment Tonight Canada, LIVE! with Kelly, NBA, Netflix, TED, and Young Leaders of the Americas. From radio studios and large-scale entertainment events to national basketball courts, my energy is unmistakable and will always advocate for the art of hosting.
My mission is clear: to normalize mental health conversations and seek intentional transformation through meaningful dialogue that invites us to reflect, play, grow, and find a sense of home within ourselves and one another.
Thank you for being here!
